Tin Can
My first point of research was the tin can, all crushed and deformed by the sea, as it is a man-made object. I made this piece by slip casting a plaster mould of a crushed sheet of metal, the slip casts were then manipulated into the required shapes once I took them off the flat mould. The glaze is a green lava glaze, inspired by the rusting of the metal by the salty sea.
